The challenge

Sri Triveni Crafts was not short of traffic. The account was delivering clicks and the enquiry volume looked reasonable on paper — but almost none of it turned into business worth having.

That is a specific and common failure, and it is not a volume problem. When an account is bidding on terms that describe the category rather than the purchase, it collects browsers, students, and buyers far too small to serve. The traffic report looks healthy while the pipeline stays empty. Fixing it means being willing to buy fewer clicks.

What we did

The work was a search restructure, not a spend increase. Every change was aimed at the same thing: making the account appear against the searches a serious buyer runs, and stop appearing against everything else.

  • Campaigns rebuilt around intent. The account was restructured so that campaigns and ad groups matched distinct buying intents rather than pooling unrelated searches together, which made it possible to read performance and move budget with any confidence.

  • Keyword targeting sharpened. Targeting was tightened onto the terms a qualified buyer actually uses, accepting a smaller and more expensive traffic pool in exchange for a better one.

  • Ad relevance rebuilt to match. Ad copy was rewritten so the message matched the search behind it, which qualifies before the click and filters out the visitors who were never going to buy.

In a business where a single client relationship can be worth more than a year of small orders, the objective was never cost per lead. It was reaching the small number of buyers who could place an order that mattered.

The outcome

The restructured account secured a client opportunity worth USD 560K, while returning better than 6x on ad spend across the engagement.

The wider point is what changed to make that possible. Nothing about the budget moved. What changed was which searches the account was willing to pay for — and in a business where one relationship can outweigh a year of small orders, buying fewer and better clicks is worth more than buying more of them.
